I've been here twice now and each time, I get a brunch so good that I get upset after the first bite because I now sometime soon--too soon--this meal will be over and my ecstasy will subside. The crepes. Jesus christ, guys, the crepes here will change your life. If heaven is real, then they serve the West 29th Street Restaurant's crepes for every meal and you never gain an ounce. Last time, I had the croque madame (I know, way to up the caloric content to a whole new level, Kelly), and it was just as decadent as it sounded. Seriously, I could have dribbled that sauce down the front of my shirt and I wouldn't have cared, I was so into that meal. Also, bonus, croque for later! Though I've never been for lunch or dinner, I cannot recommend this place enough for brunch and I can't wait to try it for other meals of the day.

Brought some out of town friends here for a nice dinner, and were not disappointed. Pros: Food was excellent in flavor and nice portions (we decided to share a few choices), decent price, and we left full. We got to sit on the patio under the lights, and the ambiance was great. Cons: We had the mussels, and the broth with them was sooooo delicious. I had a gripe though that they provide crunchy breadsticks at the table instead of soft bread, and when I asked for a few more slices of soft bread to absorb the awesomeness of the broth, they charged me extra for it, which seemed unnecessary. Also the restaurant was not that crowded, maybe four other tables total, and our server was not very attentive. We had a few requests after we tasted the meal, like extra water and stuff, and we couldn't find him for almost 20 minutes - turns out he was doing busy work like re-arranging tables and preparing settings. I would have liked him to check on us more to make the dinner smoother.

Great place! We sat outside for breakfast on the patio. It was so charming with flowers and lights. We went for a late breakfast and had crepes and pancakes. All for under $20! Check out the pics. The food was delicious, the wait staff was very nice. We are coming back later in the evening to enjoy the wine bar!

We snuck in a quick Valentines dinner the day before Valentines day at 5pm without a reservation and with our baby boy in tow. The food was excellent and staff was friendly. I think we were one of the first to be there for their dinner service so the restaurant was quiet, just us, a couple elderly folks and another family with very young children. Our son threw a lot of the food on the ground and while most of the wait staff looked at him with endearment we did get a couple disapproving looks from a server that wasn't even serving us so minus one star for that. Being relatively new to this 'parenting' thing, I'm very aware of the looks I get when my baby is throwing food all over the place and I usually apologize and offer to help clean up. We have been back a couple more times for brunch and dinner and we can't wait to go back during summer and sit out on the patio.

Awesome neighborhood bar! Sat at the bar to eat dinner, the bartenders were amazing! Very personable. Everyone has great knowledge of the menu. Love this place, so glad I live in the neighborhood.

Hats off to West 29th my visit. All the meals were prepared exceptionally and we had a food allergy guest that was dining with us and they took note to accommodate our needs. Very much appreciated and impressed to the level care they took for us. It was breakfast so it was busy, but very much worth the wait . This spot is a must try if you haven't been yet.

Life appears so random at times. (You know, like when you sit down in the bathroom and your phone falls out of your shirt pocket; hits the TP dispenser and lands with a plop in the . . . let's call it . . . water). Perhaps a little random TMI for ya? Uh, where was I? Oh yeah, that randomness thing . . . Running errands in the evening while my honey was at her monthly book group, a weird I-25 traffic slow-down prompted me randomly to take the Speer exit, heading north. Next thing I see the sign for 29th Street and remember that some Yelp friends of mine had written reviews saying how much they'd enjoyed the West 29th Restaurant and Bar. Having no plans for dinner, I drove myself out 29th in the rain and found a 1/4-filled really comfortable and inviting restaurant that set the stage for what turned out to be a very enjoyable meal: a meal all by my lonesome. Tired, wet, hungry, and a little grumpy (that I was all by myself:), I was greeted by the sweetest hostess whose warmth immediately cheered me up. She sat me at a charming small table right next to the fireplace and told me that I was really going to enjoy my meal. And ya know what . . .? I started to believe her. West 29th has a homey, yet stylish--almost prairie architecture design. Its open kitchen makes it hip. And it's single large almost glass-enclosed dining area that borders a big patio space with lots of flowers kind of gives it the feel of a garden room or solarium. Adorable Erica was my server. Not shy about recommending her favorites, I had the lamb t-bones perfectly done medium rare. They were served with a flavorful molasses-touched sauce, along with polenta and fresh veggies, and it was well worth the $21 price tag. Ordered a very decent glass of Punto Final Malbec for $7 a pop and didn't have room for dessert. All-in-all a genuine 4 star experience. Can't wait till next summer to give their garden patio a try-out. But when that fireplace is going I bet its all warm and cozy inside, so hit 'em up over the next few winter months. Their food offers comfort-and-a-half.

Wow. Awesomeness. Great food! She had the lasagna I had the filet and both were mouth watering deliciousness. I'm picky from years of working in the service industry through school and I'm telling you try this place out!

We took my in laws for brunch on a Sunday. First off, the Melon on the vine cocktail is incredible. We all shared the cinnamon roll and that too was very good. I had the salmon benedict which was very very good. The rest of the party had omelettes and all were very satisfied. The decor is very warm, stylish and the staff if very good. I would definitely return.

I just enjoyed a patio seated dinner with my boyfriend's family and am so pleased with the service, the food, and the amazing atmosphere. It is thursday night, so the restaurant had live music on the front patio and the cello and soft piano immediately set the mood for a fantastic experience. Thw music wasn't overbearing or obnoxiously loud like most restaurants fail to realize, which is also revealing of the sharp attention to detail this restaurant completely maintained throughout the entirety of the evening. The service was fantastic using "pardon my reach" "and waiting until you finished your thought before interrupting to ask if you're finished with your food. I ordered the pasta pomodoro, which I enjoyed very much, though I luckily asked if it was tomato based (like most pomodoro's are) and they surprisingly said no, but I still gave it a shot and would love to order it again when I return. All of their dishes were beautifully balanced, our table had orders of salmon, the NY strip, and fish and chips and everyone was very pleased with their meal. Though I might add that the Fish and Chips was a little too bland to keep up woth the rest! The back patio is surrounded with a garden, where some ingredients are freshly picked for each meal, which was such a great touch and somehow comforting to know you are getting the best of the best. I really appreciate the owner's and manager's attention to detail and honor of their reputation. It was a fantastic night, and I don't know what they could have done better!

Beautiful restaurant, a 'first date' kind of place with super friendly staff, reasonable prices and great food. Have their double pork chop, at $22 one of the best dishes I've had in a while. You will crave it again the next day. I still do a week later. Great beers and cocktails, two patios, parking and just a great ambiance. A hidden treasure.

Went here a few weeks ago with a group of 6 for brunch. We got there just a few minutes after they opened and I was happy to see how many people were already seated. They have 2 large patios. Our server was friendly and tried to help us get in to a shady spot. My BF and I got 2 dishes to share. Classic eggs Benedict and their pancake of the week- strawberry & cream. The eggs were just ok, nothing special. But the pancake- that was really really good. I look forward to returning and trying dinner there.

I looked to yelp to help me find somewhere new to take my parents to dinner, and after seeing the previous reviews I was stoked to go! When we got there we were seated right away, and our server was very attentive. We started with the gnocchi that was absolutely fantastic! Everything we had was very tasty and well portioned. I would recommend the filet. I can't wait for nice weather so we can go and have Sunday brunch on the patio. I would recommend this place and will be making reservations again soon!

Just cannot say enough great things about this neighborhood restaurant. My ladies group, The Denver Crazy Old Bat Society, met there for our annual Christmas luncheon and gift exchange. This was our third time at this cozy little place, and every single time we have received nothing but the friendliest treatment. The food is always yummy and served in a timely manner with a smile. We love you West 29th!

I seriously thought i had already reviewed West 29th back when it opened. But apparently I didn't. having just visited for Restaurant Week (where I had a great meal including the best clam chowder I've ever had), it's time for me to put some thoughts down. I live in the neighborhood and can be frequently found at Sloan's and Providence down in Edgewater. One thing I love about the area is the prevalence of good places to hang out and eat good food. One thing the area was missing (unless you want to venture over into the Highlands and pay the inevitable parking ticket that comes with your meal) was a more upscale place (and a good dessert place, but more on that later). Then comes West 29th. It's not hoity-toity, super-fancy, you must wear a jacket. But it's also not the kind of place that's going to have shot specials. In other words, it's the kind of place you take your parents for a nice meal. The menu changes with the seasons, and I've never had anything that wasn't at least really good. Most of the food is phenomenal. The only downside is that the portions are somewhat small for the price. At dinner. At brunch, the portions are much bigger. Oh yeah, brunch. I'm usually not one to order pancakes in a restaurant (I can make them at home just as good and for way cheaper), but on the recommendation of a friend i tried the pancakes here. Best. Pancakes. Ever. Good enough to keep me for ordering the so-good-you-don't-care-it's-heart-attack-on-a-Âplate croque monsieur at brunch. West 29th can be a bit pricey, so my usual visit consists of drinks and dessert at the bar. The specialty cocktail menu is a pretty standard mix of sweet martinis (so nothing really exciting), but the usual bartender makes a great manhattan. And the dessert menu is usually pretty good (with at least one super-chocolate item on it).

We were early diners and had to be finished in 50 minuets so there was little time to enjoy the ambiance. Our waiter was attentive and made every effort to meet our schedule. The lentil soup was excellent! The Pork Chops with cherry sauce very good. I should have requested a little pink but my associate was very happy with them more well done. A local gem with very reasonable prices. Too bad I live on the east coast. I will just have to wait for my next trip to Denver.

The atmosphere is great - very homey and relaxing. The food is wonderful! The filet is one of the best deals I've seen for $25. The food is fresh and very high quality. The only negative I can say is that the service is quite slow. We were on time for our 6:30 reservation and didn't leave until almost 9:00. Desserts took almost a half hour. I would still recommend it, just make sure you are not in a hurry or have to make a show.

Yeeeesh. I hate to give a bad review to a small company, but this was really bad. Our server was super sweet and attentive, but the food was SO UNDERCOOKED. My husband and I ordered the pork and the steak, and both were COLD and literally raw in the center. We asked for the items to be cooked longer, and the manager came out and was super confrontational. She said, "If you wanted them well done, you should've said so." Yikes- rule #1 with undercooked food (especially pork) is just to apologize and cook the damn thing. We had 2 drinks each, an appetizer, and 2 meals and received zero discount or comp for our insanely undercooked meals. I'm not asking for much, but at least buy your guest a $5 drink if you put pork sushi in front of them. We were super stoked about this little place, because the patio was adorable- but we will not be returning.

I hardly venture over to this neighborhood but I like to have more reasons to do so. I'm clearly in the minority here but I was thoroughly unimpressed with this place. I liked that there was a patio both in the front and in the back. It's perfect for a summer evening but with that you need good food. We had the chicken and the fish dishes and both were under-seasoned and bland. The waitress also kept trying to sell us hard on more drinks and desserts. It sort of became a turn off after a while. I will say that I they had a decent beer list on tap and they did have happy hour specials.

This place is a hidden jewel in Wheat Ridge. My husband and I had a great dining experience from the moment we entered the restaurant. I had a three course meal that was already pre-planned on a separate menu. Each course was delicious. This three course special came with a complementary glass of wine. All this for only 30 dls...couldn't be happier!

Since our initial try, we've become regulars. We try to get to West 29th at least 2-3 times a month. Zero complaints. The manager Mr. (Bob) Cherenzia is phenomenal. It's very rare to ever have anything go wrong, but if it does, you can be sure that the GM Bob will take care of you. Just an awesome, awesome experience every time. A true gem of the West Highlands/East Wheat Ridge. So glad we found this place. I highly recommend it.

With a party of 7 you never know how service will be. We were very impressed! The waiter was very kind, helpful with meal selections, and kept the drinks flowing. All the meals came out very fast, accurate, and flavorful. We all licked our plates clean. The deserts were a nice cap to a family meal out. The ambiance was nice and relaxing at the same time. I would go back again for sure.

Amazing chicken sandwich and the stroganoff was also delightful! Drinks are good and strong and it was a atmosphere.
Great location and nice patio and hall. Menu looked exciting and somewhat Franco-German eclectic. Our server was excellent, both with knowledge of menu and drink listings, as well as attentive without being obtrusive. Food presentation was elegant and visually appetizing. We had a 5:30 reservation for 4 and were brought in to the main dining area by an unsmiling hostess, who wore an inappropriate gauzy, see-through dress. Both women in our party commented separately about her dress and myself, although not averse to titillating dress, found it to also be inappropriate. There were 2 other tables sat and probably 8 window four-tops. We were presented with a table next to another party and in the middle of the dining area. I requested a window table and was told they were all reserved, although there was no indication that they were (place holders). I mildly suggested that I bet she could find a table, as they were all unoccupied, and the hostess again came back with a begrudging "reserved" excuse and after a third nudge, finally sat us at one of the window tables. She really needs some customer service training. Service from wait staff and servers was excellent and we enjoyed the pear martini, (yummy!) and special watermelon-vodka drink special. My wife ordered the celeriac soup, which was wonderful and rich and I enjoyed the cauliflower and black-eyed pea salad, (although more cauliflower would have been better), but the flavor and presentation were spot on. Our friends enjoyed a spinach salad and the fried kalamari (needed salt). Main course was sausage and peppers, excellent pickling, and the fennel was perfect-portion size, perfect. My wife ordered the asparagus tart, which did not have much asparagus and was overpowered by sundried tomato and under-cooked (although perfectly thin) potatoes. The tart had wonderful presentation, but was somewhat dry. Our friends enjoyed the steak, well temped and the gorgonzola stroganoff. I tried the stroganoff and it was also a bit dry, but the flavor was good. This was the my wife's third time and my first at this establishment. She said it has been consistently as described and was not thrilled by the latest offering. I will give it another try, but will need improvement to return a third time. I want my local restaurants to succeed, but mediocrity can be found anywhere. Hopefully some adjustments will be made, I'd love for this place to succeed, benefit of the doubt gets 3 stars.

West 29th makes you feel comfortable right when you walk in. The decor is classy yet you can feel comfortable dressed in your casual jeans or business attire. We sat at the bar which was a bit drafty on a cold winter night since there isn't anything to block the air when customers are opening/closing the front door. However, that was our only very minor complaint for the evening. Our bartender was really helpful and eager to explain the menu and help us with any decision making on the dishes. The wine by the bottle selection is nice and you can find wine by the glass from most of the main types of varietals. Their sauvignon blanc by the glass was fantastic. Our bartender also made well balanced Manhattan. We forgot to ask to have it stirred instead of shaken, but it still tasted delicious enough to order two. We decided on a variety of small plates: Beet carpaccio: thinly sliced red beets topped with creme fraiche, microgreens, and a little cheese and pickled onions. Fantastic. Don't miss this dish. Meat & Cheese plate: 3 cured meats and 3 cheeses and some crackers. This was basic but the meats were really good - we had a selection of pepperoni (which was much better than it sounds!), prosciutto, and capicola? and they were thinly sliced and had great flavor. The cheese were also all very tasty - among them an aged romano and a goat cheese. No cheese that were really strong on the palette but all easy-eating cheeses. Duck confit gnocchi: Finally we devoured a dish of pillowy gnocchi served along with some very tender duck confit. This dish is not to be missed either if you like either of these two ingredients. Warm, rich, and very comforting. Next time, we'll be back to try out the entrees which all look equally appetizing! If you're coming in the warm weather months, there is a nice patio out front. The bar seats several people at high top tables and maybe about 10 along the actual bar. There are a couple of TVs in the bar as well if you're there to catch a game. Dining tables are located further back and probably not quite as drafty as the bar in the cold months :) Prices ranged from $8-$15 for appetizers & small plates and entrees anywhere from $12-$26.

We have dined at West 29th several times before and each time the food and plate presentation was absolutely the best. We decided to have dinner this week at West 29th and to our dismay the food and presentation of the plate was not very well prepared. Through casual conversation with the staff we learned the original executive chef had left the restaurant for a new position. Does anyone know where Chef Sanchez moved to. Hope West 29th can maintain the quality it had. We will go back in a month or two to have dinner and will update this review.

Excellent place. Great ambiance. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood. By the way, Yelp takes you to Edgewater but that address is not correct. Use other mapping software. Crowded enough to let you know you are in the right place but room enough to seat you without a wait. Really nice inside- pics dont do it justice. Cant wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the outdoor eating area. Had 4 people and all dishes were excellent from appetizers (try the calamari!) to the main dish to the dessert. Beer menu was a tad limited. They did have Erdinger on tap so that was cool. The 35 oz beers were great. They don't look as big as you would think. They had run out or didn't have multiple dishes because of a seasonal changeover on the menu. Can't wait to see what they have invented for winter. Would definitely return. I recommend this restaurant for a date or an outing with friends where you don't want to spend a ton but you want a great experience. Four drinks, 1 appetizer, two main courses, and dessert = $90 with tip.

I had heard great things about this place and so my wife and I went there for dinner on Saturday night. It was not too crowded and we were sat immediately. The atmosphere of the place was that of a well decorated living room - very sophisticated, yet relaxed. The service was excellent, we never had an empty water glass or plate on our table. The food was amazing. We had the beet carpaccio and potato "salad" to start and they were both well crafted and delicious. The main courses (trout and paella) were the perfect size and also very impressive. I would highly recommend this place and my desire to return is high. My only question - get the same dishes again (knowing they are awesome) or should I try something new?
We had a very enjoyable meal outside on the patio. My husbands lamb chops were perfect, and my fresh pasta with shrimp and crab was rich and delicious. Our server was very nice and did a great job. Looking forward to going back

Overall a good first impression for this new joint. Everyone was friendly and attentive from when we first walked in till we walked out. The menu is solid but nothing really creative or "new". However everything definitely tasted "fresh" and hot off the grill. The setting definitely has a new feel to it and I think they need a little more character inside the restaurant but these things happen after the 1st week of opening. By far the MOST pleasant surprise of all was that they had my favorite beer on tap. Kokanee!!! Wow, very rare to see on tap other than in the pacific northwest. Other than a few awkward things here and there we enjoyed our meal. Prices seemed reasonable but again, some of the items were a bit dated. Lots of outside seating if you like that sorta thing. We will probably go back in a few months to check things out again. If anything I will go back to get a cold Kokanee.

Had Sunday Brunch - and we'll be back! I split the eggs benedict and a side of pistachio pancakes, with my wife and everything was great. Our friends had the crepes and a breakfast burrito and they too, were pleased. I recommend this place - it's worth it.
My boyfriend and I just moved to the neighborhood and are lucky to come across this gem! This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is so comforting and inviting. Not to mention the food is incredible!!!! Get the pork chops! We will be back soon!

Last night's patio-themed wine dinner at West 29th was absolutely brilliant! The event was supposed to have taken place on one of their quaint patios, but Mother Nature intervened, so they had all the tables set up inside their beautiful cozy dining room. We were warmly greeted by the hostess, the servers and even the owner, Bob, came to our table and remembered us from our last visit and thanked us for joining them. Simon was the wine rep from Mondo Vino and he came around to each table to entertain and inform about each of the wines that were perfectly paired with our 4-course meal. I'm sure it's challenging for the kitchen staff and front of the house to put on these wine dinners, especially when they're sold-out as this one was, and there's a last minute change of plans due to weather, but you would have never known it. Each of the wines were served promptly and efficiently with their paired courses, every dish was absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned and (very important) served at the correct temperature. This was the most well-executed wine dinner I've ever had the pleasure of attending. I am looking forward to more of these events at West 29th in the future! Cheers!

I've had this bookmarked to try for a while now. Finally a date night with husband for his birthday! We were impressed from the moment we walked in to this beautiful establishment. We were pretty early for a Friday night - so the dining room was pretty open. It was just a bit too cool to sit outside on the beautiful terrace - but we look forward to trying it out soon. This inside was very cozy and comfy. Our server Carrol was very sweet - and very professional. The food was excellent - each course better than the previous. We had the duck confit and potato gnocchi....shared caesar salad for starters. I had the Beef Bourguigon and he had the Gorganzola beef stroganoff. The Willamette Pinot was a perfect match with both entrees. Shared a Creme Brulee for dessert. Perfect from beginning to the end. Truly a 4.5 experience and we look forward to trying the new seasonal menu!

I'm new to Wheat Ridge & wanted to try this place based on my neighbor's recommendation. What a huge disappointment. I hate to give a bad review but stating that the self-described "bar manager" was rude & a total bit*%h is an understatement. She tried to serve me an old & sour glass of wine and when I complained she told me "clearly you don't drink this kind of wine." It was laughable but I was so stunned I didn't respond. Here's a tip: stock higher end wine that doesn't turn after 12 hours. The only thing this chick can manage are no-repeat customers. Oh yeah, food SUCKED too.

My parents and I went here for Christmas Eve dinner, and had a lovely time. We picked it because it's right in my neighborhood, but we were delighted when we got there because the place is lovely and inviting. The staff was so nice, and our waitress was great. I really enjoyed my house salad, and all of our entrees were great. I had the lamb shank, and the meat was so tender it just fell off the bone, and it came with Brussels Sprouts and polenta, yum. Dad had a steak, which was done just to his liking and was also fantastic. My mom got the Stroganoff and I think that was the best tasting of all the items. All in all, we had a great festive experience, and like most of the other folks here, I'm looking forward to spending some time on their patio come good weather.

Spoke to General Manager Robert today. He aplogized about waitress behavior and that he had taken care of the issue. Also explained that the number of crepes ordered that day was an anomaly. And finally once he knew about the problem he contacted me quickly to rectifie the problem. We will definitely visit West 29 again.

Seems to be hit or miss. Had the salmon and it was really good. Went another time and had a chicken ceased salad which was not great at all. Had minimal chicken, slightly wilted romaine, and 3 croutons. Also had a burger that was overlooked despite asking for medium rare. Nice ambiance and has a great patio, but probably won't go back.

We LOVE this place for dinner and come here frequently. The menu is simple yet each dish is expertly crafted, with great attention to detail and seasonality, and the dinner servers are prompt and very friendly. It is a great place to go if you want a nice but low-key meal, as it's not typically very crowded or excessively loud. As a side note, we came here for brunch on a Sunday and were very unimpressed--incredibly slow service, undercooked pancakes, and bland bacon (I mean really, how do you mess up bacon?). We probably won't try brunch here again, but we will definitely continue to come here for dinner.

First time yelping after a very uncomfortable dining experience here. Found a large piece of plastic in my mouth mid-entree and quietly and politely brought it to my waiter's attention. He was very professional and apologetic but I watched as the kitchen staff proceeded to inspect and debate the piece of plastic in full view of myself and the restaurant. Ultimately the manager "discounted" the dish by 50%. I'm not the type to argue and paid it and left but will never set foot in the restaurant again. If the price of negligently allowing a customer to eat a meal with a piece of plastic that could potentially injure or harm her is only to knock 50% off that dish, then that should tell you how they view sanitation and the wellness of their customers. I'm all for paying for the rest of the bill--fair is fair--but to pay even a dime for an entree that left a piece of melted plastic in my mouth is just poor business and speaks ill of the management.

EVERYTHING about this place is excellent. Restaurants rarely knock it out of the park during their first week of business, but this place is an exception. Service was superb - Hannah made great food and wine recommendations, and Eamon made sure we were taken care of when we moved from the rainy table on the patio to the nice dry seats at the bar. The calamari was good (the aioli made it great), and the trout was fan-tas-tic. Fish and chips were delicious also. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood, and I am sure it will do well!

As I read other reviews, I see their is a shared complaint about the hostesses. We have been three times with a different hostess each time. Yes they are ALL gorgeous and I am guessing that isn't coincidental. They are ALL in need of training! But the Food? Fantastic, without fail. There are some dishes that seem to suffer from a lack of consistency, but the menu has spots of rare genius. It is as if the place has two managers with different priorities. SOmeone who LOVES to feed people is the genius...and someone else fails to follow through a bit. Their Croque Madame is the best in the city...but it's on a totally ungarnished plate, looking small and lonely. Their sauces are wonderful but perhaps a little skimpy. I think there is huge potential for some perfect meals ahead...with a bit more attention .

I had heard good things about this place, so we gave it a shot. Tres disappointing. The scampi was heavy with cream sauce, but even worse, the spaetzle was overdone and very tough - much like the texture of jerky. When we asked for fresh spaetzle, they took over 30 minutes to being it. It came after we had all finished our dinners, sans any apology or explanation. The service wasn't too bad, but the manager's response to our complaint was dismissive, approaching rude. We won't go back.

Underwhelming and overpriced. My review is a bit dated as it has been about a year since dining. The restaurant and patio have great atmosphere. The food was not impressive. I had a ceaser salad with chicken that included pieces if leftover shredded dry/over cooked bland meat and stuffed mushroom appetizer that was hard to eat. I was told by the server the chef previously worked at the Brown hotel & local beers were not part of the atmosphere the owners were looking for. The food seemed like bad catering food, and while beer selection was good, of I have guests from out if town, I'm taking them to a place with local flavors.
Looked forward to going there, quite disappointed.we were sitting at the table and they bring us so called breadsticks, more like thick matches ,no bread, no butter ,waited half hour to get food sorry the lasagna was hard ,overcooked and dry, the beef stroganoff was small little pieces of meat with 5 small noodles, the fish and chips were small portions except for 1000 French fries just thrown on plate in all directions.they serve most dishes in a soup bowl, portions very small, prices at least 30 to 40% too high. No decorations on food no vegetables no side dishes ,come on the greed is evident.plus the choices on the menu not well thought out.place is lovely, service was very good, won't be back! Fire Gordon Ramsey.

Absolutely excellent experience. Our server Natalie was superb. We had an opportunity to talk to restaurant manager Robert who is working had to make this new restaurant a hit in the neighborhood. Food: My 6 oz filet was excellent - perfectly cooked (medium rare), with garlic mashed potatoes and a mushroom sauce which was just the right consistency. The price to proportion size was just perfect (6 oz / $18). Don't order a burger here (2 stars) until they figure it out - my husband's burger was cooked to order but was too small, dry and boring. Really - with an open kitchen you should be able to turn out a burger that is better than this. Caesar salad - fresh and tasty but the dressing could us a bit more uumph - they should add more garlic and lemon. The menu is simple - one page including a sampling of appetizers and salads along with main course offerings which are ambitious without being over the top. Beef, fish, pork, pasta, all with a bit of flair. Wine - prices are excellent. You can enjoy a very good Prosecco for only $22. West 29th has several other bottles at extremely reasonable prices. One can only hope that the reasonable wine prices will last as many new restaurants raise their prices once they get established. If this happens, we will be disappointed. Other notables: AWESOME PATIO(S)!! Yes, they have more than one and they are both utterly delightful. Comfortable furniture as well as a great water feature in the front and loads of shade and an herb garden in the back. West 29th is the best restaurant in Wheat Ridge and potentially a destination restaurant for residents from Highlands/Berkeley. We look forward to going back.

Some new and fresh flavors! From the onion tart appetizer to the raspberry mohito, our meal was so tasty! The restaurant is beautiful with fantastic garden seating on two sides. A true gem!

Four big stars for this neighborhood gem. We went with a group and they seated us while waiting for the rest of the group which I always appreciate. My husband and I were able to enjoy a glass of wine while everyone else drifted in. We ordered the beets tartare and the calimari, both very good. I had the filet which was cooked perfectly medium rare and this non mashed potato eater finished the entire accompaniment of mashed potatoes b/c they were *that* good. The only disappointment was the dessert. We had the tres leche and it was just mediocre. I've never been to a fine dining restaurant that offers to split a check up which was very much appreciated. Aside from dessert, the ambiance, service and food was five stars.
My husband and I ate here for restaurant week, so my review is based solely on that experience and that prix fixe menu. The ambience is spot on, this is a converted house and has a nice "housey" feel, but is super classy with a great wine selection and open kitchen. They do so many things right here - the manager on duty stopped by each table at least once to make sure everyone was content. The waitstaff was attentive and had great timing. Everyone was very friendly, the patio is beautiful and all details of the restaurant are in good tradition with the vintage of the house. As for the food, we both had their cauliflower soup which was delicious if not a bit too "heavy", little too creamy buttery. The frisee and caesar salds were both excellent. I had the trout with polenta, both had delicate but delicious flavors. My husband had the chicken scampi which a little overcooked and too oily. We split the carrot cake and chocolate mousse, the former being hands down the best carrot cake either of us have ever had, and the mousse was just the perfect combination of light and dark chocolate flavors. I would give West 29th five stars if not for the fact that there would be absolutely no options here for anyone restricting their caloric intake or wanting to modify down to something a little less heavy. I have checked out their regular full menu and the same would stand - it is a limited menu meant for foodies, not for anyone on a diet looking to get an entree salad. We will absolutely return here in the warmer months to enjoy a glass of wine on their patio!

...just had dinner there again last night and we're even more in love with the place! We learned all about the Cobia that is on the menu. Google it. Try it. And you'll drive back from anywhere to have it again.

We were looking for a nice dinner and decided to give this place a try since we recently noticed it and we only live a few blocks away. It happened to be the beginning of restaurant week and we weren't sure if we would be able to get in but luckily there were still reservations available and looks like they could have taken a few walk-ins. It was much bigger than I expected with a nice bar area and really big patios that will see a lot of use in warmer weather. We were seated next to the fireplace which was nice for a snowy evening. They were more than happy to offer both the regular menu and the restaurant week menu. We chose to go with the regular menu and started with crab fritters. They had a great texture and were tasty but I didn't really see much crab meat so that was a little disappointing and probably the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. (I would do 4 1/2 if that was an option). My boyfriend ordered the filet which came out a little closer to rare than the mid-rare he asked for but it was probably best that way as it was so good and tender. He hasn't stopped talking about it and wants to get another one asap. I ordered the beef bourginon at our server's suggestion and it was also very tender and delicious and a very generous portion of meat. We finished with a crème brulee which was big enough for probably 3 or 4 people to share but it was so good we finished the whole thing ourselves. We will definitely be back soon. Can't wait to try the brunch and enjoy the patio.

Awesome place! We really like their Vegetarian selection and the desserts are great. Also, great priced beer and a nice selection of wine. The layout is awesome: they have a beautiful open kitchen to the dining room and ample patio space.

We've been here twice now and had amazing meals both times. The food is expertly cooked and the menu - which changes from time to time - has so many delicious sounding options it's difficult to choose! The service and atmosphere are also wonderful and the employees are knowledgable. Perfect little patio for summer dinners or cocktail hours.

I wanted to sit on the patio, though it was too hot for our 7 month old. The inside was nice too and unmistakeably Wheat Ridge - I almost felt as if I was in someone's home and growing up in the fair tree city, I should know. Because we had an activity planned after dinner, so I reluctantly went light with the beer cheese soup and salad. Beer. Cheese. Soup. I am still thinking about it and this was weeks ago. The crunchy bread sticks were perfect with it. I feel soup is always an excellent judge of a restaurant - a perfect opportunity to impress via cup or bowl. My fiance had the trout which was perfect. Our server was informative, yet casually endearing and we will be back. I also ask all diners to give new restaurants a pass to get things right. It is SO difficult to open a restaurant and some mistakes are inevitable. This place has a great foundation CHECK IT OUT!

Wife and I have been looking forward to checking this place out ... stopped for breakfast. had a hard time getting coffee, keeping it filled, and water as well ... eggs benedict came out cold, same with hash browns, portions very small. wife's breakfast, she wasn't impressed. couldn't seem to get the waitresses attention the whole meal ... came time to pay, we were ready to go, sat there for 10 minutes ... finally i walked up to the man 'lounging' in the front of the establishment, asked if i could have my bill ... he seemed surprised i would ask for this. close to 50 bucks later ... left pretty dissatisfied with the whole experience. this place LOOKS like it should be great. it just ain't. I have often remarked that many places LOOK like they serve great food ... that "i'm paying for the wall sconces and not the food". This shouldn't be a routine experience with eating out in the USA these days, but in some cases it really is ... price point is way off vs. the quality of the food and service. getting, and maintaining coffee and water, really shouldn't be a big deal ... but it was. I've been mentioning this place to the locals I interact ... I'm going to stop. I'm a local to where this place resides. Save your money ... go where the food is good, and the service better.

Cool atmosphere, great menu, quick and friendly staff--What more could you ask for? Its American aesthetic with French and Italian infusions. From the crab fritters, duck and mushroom gnocchi, to Gorgonzola Strogonoff and half roasted chicken... everything is SO good. Innovative cooking in a great environment. DO NOT forget about dessert! West 29th chocolate or the creme brulee, take your pick. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Opens at 10am for brunch and it's fabulous. No wait (like if you venture further into the Highlands area) and the food is excellent. I had the corned beef hash. yum, yum, yum. The friend I was brunching with had the burger and french fries - yes, this made me like this place even more that it offers a burger for brunch - and it was super tasty at that. The dining room is so nice with the fireplace. Can't wait to go back in the spring to sit on the gorgeous patios. I would definitely recommend.

This place never disappoints! Our family has been at least 1/2 dozen times, and I would 5 star rate this every time! Tonight I had the meatloaf stuffed with spinach and roasted red pepper! Unbelievable! The staff is super friendly and go over the top to make sure you feel at home! They are also a brunch place, so will give that a go next time! Have heard great things!

So happy that this place opened in our neighborhood! We went for brunch last Sunday and it was so great, the weekend can't come soon enough for us to go again! From the minute we walked in, the service was outstanding. We recently had a baby so heading out with a newborn is unknown to us, the host made us feel very comfortable and set us up nicely. Our waitress provided amazing service as well. We took my parents and all of us really enjoyed our entrees. In fact we all kept commenting throughout the day how much we enjoyed brunch. We plan on going back for dinner soon and also for brunch on the weekends! This is our new go to when we have out of towners visiting!

Wonderful place for brunch. The Eggs Benedict was amazing. The place is really cute & cozy. The staff was super friendly & took care of all our needs. I look forward to trying dinner there. We were told reservations for brunch are usually necessary however we were sat right away without a reservation. I definitely will become a regular.

I've been wanting to try this place every since they opened. The place looked great from the outside, and I was excited to have another restaurant in the area. I stopped by for Sunday Brunch and was very delighted to see how reasonable the prices were for brunch. Just based on the appearance of the place, I was expecting everything on the brunch menu to be over $12. Surprisingly, the most expensive thing was $12. Lots of options under $8. I got the Croque Madame and it was absolutely delicious. My Mom got the special of the day - German chocolate crepes. They were also very good. I'm really excited to try their dinner service out. I'm bummed I didn't get a chance to check out their great patio while the weather was warm. That will be a must this spring.

Wow, I'm impressed. When I saw the high yelp reviews, I knew I had to check this place out, since I live nearby Sloan's Lake. I had high hopes, but was ready to be disappointed. But happily, I was pleasantly surprised. You first walk into the bar area and it is a nice sized area and I wasn't sure what to expect once the hostess walked us back to the dining room. The dining room is one large open room. The furnishings are high quality. Nice wood trim, nice windows, even the blinds were high quality. Overall a very nice rustic feel with a modern open kitchen. You can definitely tell someone put a lot of thought into making sure both the inside and outside space was comfortable. There was even a space out front to tie your dog to the fence, with a section of artificial turf along with water bowls. Very nice touch. Now onto the food. I had the 6 oz filet and the BF had the salmon dinner. I ordered the filet medium and the middle was a bit more rare than I prefer, but the filet was very good.... melt in your mouth good. The accompanied mashed potatoes were delicious as was the asparagus. The BF enjoyed his salmon plate, only complaint was 'the skin could've been a little crispier". Since dinner was so delicious, we decided to try the dessert, especially after I saw tiramisu on the dessert menu. My favorite dessert ever is tiramisu, so I know a good tiramisu when I taste one. Unfortunately, this dessert was not really a tiramisu. Presentation was in a glass and looked interesting, but I would say it tasted more like a smores dessert. Don't get me wrong, it was a good dessert, but if you are expecting a traditional tiramisu, you will be disappointed. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

We have visited this quiet and welcoming restaurant numerous times for dinner. Never have we been disappointed. The menu is sophisticated without being pretentious. The servers are always courteous, knowledgable and efficient, and we plan on returning as many times as it takes to get through the full menu, and then some! p.s. Must try the deserts!!

This place could hold its own in any part of the metro area - we are so lucky to have it in Wheat Ridge! Delicious food with something for everyone. Lovely space indoors and out. Attentive and well trained service. A welcoming and satisfying experience. Look forward to being a regular. Give this new restaurant a try - especially worth crossing over Sheridan if you are in the highlands or Tennyson area.

Great addition to the neighborhood! Our new favorite place. Loved the ambiance to start The home made breadsticks are so addicting. My wife loved the fish and chips and I thought my 8oz steak was superb with the sauce over the fabulous mashed potatoes My son's pepper steak was surprisingly small and almost devoid of peppercorns. That was our only disappointment. We will return often.

My wife and I ate at West 29th a few weeks after the restaurant opened. We sat out in the front patio which was spectacular. Although the patio is right off of 29th Ave, we didn't notice much in the way of car noise at all. If there was any, the water fountain did a great job of drowning it out. On to the food: We ordered the meat & cheese plate to start. Having just returned from Italy a few months ago, I didn't expect it to compare to what was on offer there. Boy was I wrong! Each of the cheeses was really unique and the flavors of the meats were wonderful. We really enjoyed the chorizo, which was very thinly sliced and melted in your mouth. For our mains, my wife ordered the grass-fed burger and I ordered the fish and chips. Not only is grass-fed meat far healthier for you, it is much juicier and more flavorful. West 29th got this right for sure. The fish and chips was also excellent. Very light and fresh flavor compared to a lot of restaurants that serve fish and chips that is heavily breaded and tastes like it came out of a box. The natural cut french fries were also a nice departure from typical pub french fries. Only comment we had is that we ordered my wife's burger without a bun (gluten sensitivity), but they forgot. We also had a bottle of wine with dinner. We were debating between a couple choices and consulted our server and the manager. They gave us a great recommendation for the Los Dos Grenache-Syrah, which was not only excellent, but also only $19. Awesome deal in our opinion. We finished the dinner with a creme brulee. It had a nice, thick layer of caramelized sugar on top (not that wimpy stuff a lot of restaurants do) and a tasty vanilla custard. Very well done. Overall, we thought it was a spectacular meal. I imagine things will only get better as the restaurant matures. We'll certainly be back soon.

Don't bother unless you are hankering for a restaurant menu from the 70s, rubbery calamari, soggy breadsticks, meh salads, and a boring beer menu. Nice interior, though.

I really want to like this place because it's a local and it's such a cool little spot. We've been a couple of times and I'm just not impressed with the food. Recently we had brunch and the hollandaise sauce was very bland. The hash browns were good but for the price you are paying you expect it to better than bland.

Everything sounded great on paper, but execution was lacking from the appetizers (gnocchi, crab fritters) to the entrees (stuffed meatloaf, fish & chips). The environment was nice and casual, but the food was sub par.

Yelp'd this the other day as another couple and my wife and I were planning on going out to dinner. We were wanting to go outside of our "Highlands/Tennyson" box, so we headed west of Sheridan and were pleasantly surprised by the very large patio, excellent service and wonderful food.

I had passed by this restaurant on a couple occasions and decided to give it a try on my birthday, to celebrate with my wife and daughter. What a great choice! I made reservations easily and my daughter and I arrived first, to be quickly seated at a cozy table close to the fireplace. We were impressed with the atmosphere and the menu as we waited for my wife to arrive. It took a bit to sort through the numerous good choices, but once we ordered and our food arrived, we were quite happy with our decisions. I tried the beer cheese soup, which was wonderfully balanced and flavorful, and had the Gorgonzola stroganoff as my entree, another great choice! We finished with two delicious desserts, a perfect end to a great experience.

I was so inspired by Joshua F's review, that I, too decided to sign up to write a review. I live two blocks away and am so thrilled to have this exciting addition to our neighborhood. The ambiance is superb. Someone with a careful eye and good taste brought a loving hand to every detail. Nice job Bud! Cute herb garden out back. The lighting is excellent. I loved the open kitchen. The bathrooms are beautiful. Can't wait for winter to see that fireplace lit up! What I so appreciate about the service was how genuine it was. Real smiles and authentic people make such a big difference. Plus, our server was not only very knowledgeable about the menu, but also filled us in on the history of the building, the reclaimed wood beams on the ceiling and the recycled water system. The wine list was good -- I liked how it was arranged from lightest to boldest -- though room for some more whites that are not Californian. My husband's beer came in a German beer stein, which we both thought was a unique touch. The food was great. We split a caesar salad -- which was delicately dressed. I had the trout -- fabulous. Husband loved his flat iron steak. Portion sizes were perfect for us. Like a previous reviewer, we also thought the ticket time was pretty long between our order and our entree. However, not unusual for a place only open a week. W29: You are worth the wait! I see myself as a regular for many years to come. Hope you are open for lunch, happy hour and brunch soon!

I have had the pleasure of eating at West 29th a few times. The food has always been fantastic and not sure what restaurant Bumbohead ate at, but the homemade breadsticks are always crispy and great along with all the other menu items. This is a great addition to the neighborhood. The fact that they are doing everything from scratch and local is awesome. Give them a chance considering they have only been open a little over a month! I know they will be around for a long time, great staff, building and food.

I'm giving this restaurant 5 stars because it deserves it. It's got to be a "best in class" for neighborhood restaurants. Plus, I'd say it's worth a trip here from another part of town. Great selection of beverages. Food is delicious. Service is fine, fine, fine. And, it's more than just service. The people working here are genuinely friendly and interested in your enjoyment. I hope others try this place to see what I mean. West 29th is just plain a satisfying place to eat out.

They cut down the largest tree in the neighborhood to build this place hence the strip mall parking lot vibe. How many trees must die in the name of lame over priced unimaginative food! Tiny portions, high prices and some of the lamest service in town. They sell chimay for $30 a glass!wow!

As other reviewers, I live a block away and eagerly awaited the opening as it did seem to take a LONG time to renovate the building. So I'm going to start with the statement that my family will give this place another shot as we feel it is fair to let them go through some growing pains. However, if the prices and portions remain the same, I can only see my husband and I walking down for a few drinks and appetizers at the bar (we have three kids and it was a little pricey). Now for the growing pains part. The server we had was horrible!!! We ordered apps that never came out because the order was not placed. We had to remind the server of our salad order and by the time I would have received my second beer, well let's just say I cancelled the order. The poor table of eight that came In before us had not received their meals by the time my family was leaving. Food was decent and again, I hope they work the kinks out. Also, I think I'm going to have to become one of those people that complains to the city about the street parking. We live on Depew st. And we now have a hard time getting onto 29th due to the market and now the restaurant street parking. I guess I was hoping for something closer to a Sloan's that we could walk to but that's just me. We will have to keep taking the family to Sloan's, Edgewater Inn and Us Thai for now.

Went here with my boyfriend for a friday night date. The service was great very friendly. We got to enjoy the wonderful patio. Both of our meals were delicious! Will definitely be back again.

We had Mother's Day brunch here! Super cute inside! The food was good! Will go back. Service was a tiny bit slow, mostly the kitchen.

We sat outside on the porch. The weather was amazing and having the choice to sit outside was great. We could actually have a conversation, which I value. To start we had martinis. You can chose to have a less sweet martini, but their menu suggests their signatures, which are all sweet. They were well mixed and had an actual flavor rather than an alcohol taste. The appetizer was a blue cheese and beef puff pastry and it was very tasty. The entrée was the star of evening! I can't speak for anyone else, as taste is subjective, but they all tell me their dishes were wonderful. Mine was delicious! I had the salmon. I went in knowing nothing about chimichurri sauce, but it was so light, so flavorful, and complimented the salmon so well. I love salmon, but many places often prepared the same way; with lemon and herbs. This was extremely unique and extremely tasty preparation. The desert, well, it was just desert. It wasn't anything special, but it was good. Despite the plain desert I highly recommend coming. If you do come, though, definitely come prepared to make a decision. It won't be easy. :)

Love their great patio in the summer and wonderful bottomless mimosas!!! Staff is always great and attentive.

We came here for brunch on a Sunday and the whole experience left our group saying we wouldn't be coming back. After ordering our food it took almost an hour to come. We didn't order anything special either; just your basic eggs and toast kind of brunch stuff. I ordered a cinnamon roll and it was awful, I didn't even finish half of it. It wasn't a roll as much as a dried out pancake with cinnamon in the middle, covered in what tasted like melted cream cheese. My fiancé asked about a vegetarian option to replace the meat in her breakfast meal, and the waiter suggested a salad?! Finally they agreed on a grilled portobello mushroom. What came out was a black and wet (?), rubbery looking mushroom that could only be described as a pimple. The restaurant wasn't overly busy yet everything still took forever to come, to the point where I had to get up and go check on the status of our meals. Between the slow service and the bad food, there's far better options in the area.
(2)Maia R.

This place is a gem. Everything is good and there is something for everyone. And they have a private dining room.
(5)Dave Z.
Had Sunday Brunch - and we'll be back! I split the eggs benedict and a side of pistachio pancakes, with my wife and everything was great. Our friends had the crepes and a breakfast burrito and they too, were pleased. I recommend this place - it's worth it.

We had heard wonderful things about West 29 th and our son was visiting so decided to give it a try. Wow everything from the appetizers to desert was amazing. Service was great Allison and Eric were very attentive. The decor and ambiance was warm and very cosy. The Crab critter was great. The 3 favorites at dinner were Lamb shank Beef Bourguigon and Gorgonzola beef stroganoff all were amazing and finished off with Cream Brûlée. Very nice dinner. Looking forward to going back and trying the patio.

Waited 50 minutes for breakfast, manager said they were having trouble boiling water. SLOW!
(1)Jamie B.
So I came back for a full meal and I was pretty disappointed. Not only were we the only young people again but I actually felt like they were treating us a little different. The hostess was outright cold, and the rest of the service was fine, but not warm and were inattentive. We were seeing other tables with happy attentive servers and wondering what was going on. The food itself was decent, just overdone. Every entrée there was just too much going on. They should've stopped adding ingredients about 2 sooner. I prefer much simpler where you can taste the ingredients independently. The patio is very nice and the garden is beautiful but the choice of furniture was heavy metal tables and chairs with lots of details, nothing like the clean style that is in right now. I guess I am just the wrong demographic for this place!
(2)Jessica R.

(1)Laura O.
(5)Judge R.
(4)Kate C.
(2)Claire H.
(5)R K.
(1)Devin J.
We stopped in to this little gem on a whim for a late breakfast. We were delighted to find that the food was delicious the patio was lovely. The service was also very friendly and quick.
(5)Carolyn M.
(5)S B.
(4)Maggie D.
(1)Angie S.
We had an excellent experience at West 29th last night. Our server, Kai, was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to food and wine suggestions. The ambience is beautiful and the food was amazing. Will definitely go again soon!
(5)Alan V.
Cuisine is amazing! Prices are great for the quality! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. What more can you ask for?
(5)april n.
(2)Craig S.
Have been disappointed on two occasions. The entrées we ordered were overpriced for the quality/portions and not cooked as asked (medium rare came out well done). Was hoping for more from this new restaurant in our neighborhood.
(2)David S.
(2)Tracie B.
(4)Valerie T.
Some new and fresh flavors! From the onion tart appetizer to the raspberry mohito, our meal was so tasty! The restaurant is beautiful with fantastic garden seating on two sides. A true gem!
(4)Paula K.

The finest restaurant in Wheat Ridge. True and yet, so unfair. West 29th is the best restaurant in Wheat Ridge and Lakewood (your chain restaurants suck) and Arvada. That covers a lot of ground. I would say that West 29th has no competition from Applewood east to Lo-Hi. This is a restaurant designed to appeal to people who want a comfortable "American" meal with no surprises. 30SEP2013 + Fish and Chips is great! Light and fluffy batter. Garlic Aioli has some punch. + Gorgonzola Beef Stroganoff is scrumptious. Perfect amount of blue cheese. Very tasty. + Cæsar salad dressing has more oomph. + Website is good. + Happy Hour. + Open on weekends for brunch. - Still no Wi-Fi. 25JUL2013 Gordon Ramsay and Robert Irvine would approve of the menu. One page and "fresh". There is something for everyone and it is all prepared in a tasteful and pleasing manner. Our service was excellent. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Competent. Prompt. Lots of pluses here and only a few minuses. Highly Recommended. + Patios. Yes. Two. One in front and a smaller one in the back which is super quiet. + Tables and chairs on the patio. Cast aluminum and very comfortable seating. The tables are interesting as the woven look makes it appear that wine glass stability would be a problem, but they are perfectly designed to avoid any such problems. + Homemade bread sticks waiting for you when you sit down. These are crispy, cheesy, salty gems. + Our server, Natalie. Spot on. Put a stopper in our bottle of bubbly. Knew the menu. + Wine selection. Prices range from $19 to $77 with most under $30. We enjoyed our Spanish blend. There are a dozen each of read and wine. Everyone will find something to enjoy. + Beer selection. A number of European pilsners on tap. A marvelous change from Colorado ales. + Overall ambiance. You immediately relax when entering this cozy space. Bud Starker spent a fortune creating a beautiful classic space. + Flatware. Hefty, comfortable pattern from Watco. + Cloth napkins. + Steak dinner. Tenderloin (6 oz at a very reasonable price) with a demiglace and mashed potatoes. Perfectly cooked as ordered. Tender. Delicious. 6 stars. + Cæsar Salad. Crispy, fresh romaine. They split the plate for us without us even asking (for free, I might add). White anchovies!!! Just the proper amount of croutons. + Burger. Presentation. Buns were toasted just the right amount of time to be crunchy and taste of a slightly burnt butter. The burger was cooked exactly as ordered to a slight pink. + Crème Brûlée. Creamy goodness. + Robert Cherenzia as GM. 0 Website. You wind up at GoDaddy. "The owner's son (or some relation) is building the website". No, he is NOT. There is no website. I only ate 1/2 of it. Sad. The accompanying hand-cut fries were a tad soggy. They really needed the second trip through the fryer.

Excellent food, service & drink. Didn't have any expectations and was surprised and happy. Beat salad, Caesar, chicken, stroganoff & sirloin were all perfect. We will be back

Wow! Amazing food, beer selection, service, atmosphere, appearance, and totally reasonable prices for the quality of the experience. This will be a place we frequent for date nights, group fun and we can't wait for brunch!! Totally recommending West 29th!! Well done guys! You should be proud!

(2)Leslie A.
Best trout I've had in a restaurant, period. Vegetable cooked perfectly, as well. Staff very attentive and friendly. Refreshing to see this fabulous restaurant in our neighborhood.
(5)Monty B.

(5)Lloyd L.
(5)Food G.
They cut down the largest tree in the neighborhood to build this place hence the strip mall parking lot vibe. How many trees must die in the name of lame over priced unimaginative food! Tiny portions, high prices and some of the lamest service in town. They sell chimay for $30 a glass!wow!
(1)Amy R.
